Homecoming Spirit Week 2011!!!!  Check the bright green flyer in your homerooms for all Spirit Week events and participate in the fun!

11th Academic English
This week we will continue our work with Explorer/Settler Narrative Accounts.  We will read and discuss selections from "The General History of Virginia" by John Smith, and a selection from "Of Plymouth Plantation" by William Bradford.  Make sure you take good notes in class as we read these.  On Thursday you will take Vocabulary Quiz #2 and will begin work on Vocabulary List #3.  Enjoy Homecoming Spirit Week 2011!

12th Academic English
This week we will continue our work with Beowulf.  We will read, outline, read aloud and discuss this early epic poetry. Make sure you are taking good notes during our class discussions!  On Thursday you will take Vocabulary Quiz #2 and will begin work on Vocabulary List #3.  Enjoy your final Homecoming Spirit Week as a student at NS!!
