11th Academic English
This week we will wrap up our study of Arthur Miller's play, The Crucible. We will read together and discuss Act IV and you will take a test covering the entire play on Wednesday. Don't forget that your research projects are due on Monday! Thursday we'll take part in a presentation given to us by McCann's School of Business and Technology. On Friday you will take Vocabulary Quiz #5 and will begin work on Vocabulary List #6 and its review sheet. Second Quarter begins on Wednesday, November 2nd!

On Monday and Tuesday you will take the CDT Tests, rescheduled from last week. Wednesday, you will continue work on reading and outlining "The Prologue" from The Canterbury Tales (pp. 94-115). Thursday we'll take part in a presentation given to us by McCann's School of Business and Technology. On Friday you will take Vocabulary Quiz #5 and will begin work on Vocabulary List #6 and its review sheet. Second Quarter begins on Wednesday, November 2nd! Senior year is moving by quickly!

11th Academic English
The quarter is quickly coming to an end, as is your research project! On Monday, you will turn in your map and outline for your research project. You will also take Vocabulary Quiz #4 and work on Vocabulary List #5. Tuesday and Wednesday you will take CDT Tests in class. Thursday we will talk about Act III of The Crucible. On Friday you will take the Act III quiz and will begin work on the Act IV Study Guide. DON'T FORGET THAT YOUR RESEARCH PROJECT IS DUE ON FRIDAY!!!

You will read and outline pp. 90-93 in the literature anthology, then begin reading and outlining "The Prologue," pp. 94-115 in the anthology. You will be responsible for this section of our studies, so take great notes as you read. The Becket essay test is due on Friday, so make sure you have that ready to go. This essay test is the last grade of the quarter.

On Thursday you will take Vocabulary Quiz #4 and will begin work on Vocabulary List #5 and its review sheet. Friday you will take a test on Acts I and II of The Crucible. Don't forget that your research project Bibliography and Note Cards are due on Friday also! Make sure you keep up with your work!

You will be given an essay test on this film, so you should make sure you are taking good notes while watching it in class. On Thursday you will take Vocabulary Quiz #4 and will begin work on Vocabulary List #5 and its review sheet.

On Thursday, you will take a quiz on Act I and will receive the Act II Study Guide. Don't forget to continue your work on your research project. Continue to gather data and start to write your text. Be sure to refer to your calendar to keep up with due dates and class work.

On Friday you will take a test on both Beowulf and Arthurian legend. Refer to your calendar to keep up with our coursework.
