Week of March 3, 2014
11th Academic English
This week we'll continue our work with Sentence Classification.  We will check your answers on the first worksheet given to you last Friday, then will continue practice with another worksheet.  Later in the week, hopefully, we will take a test on Sentence Classification, then begin editing and revising work.

12th Academic English
This week we'll continue work on the research project.  You'll turn in your outline for the paper on Wednesday then continue working on developing the final draft of your paper.  Remember to strictly follow MLA format in developing the remaining components for this project!  If you run into problems make sure you talk with Mr. Lucas.

11th Academic English
It has been a rough two weeks of winter weather.  However, I think we are back on track.  This week you will take a Sentence Analysis Test on Tuesday, then will begin work with Sentence Classification using clauses.  On Thursday of this week you will take Vocabulary Quiz #11 and begin work on Vocabulary List #12.  A Reading Response will be due by Friday.

12th Academic English
It has been difficult to meet the research deadlines with so many interruptions to our regular school schedule and I'm glad that so many of you have been keeping up with the work!  The next and last set of Research Documents will be due on Thursday of this week.  You'll also take Vocabulary Quiz #11 on Thursday.  We'll talk about the next phases of the research project later this week.  Keep up your good work with the project!!
