11th Academic English
On Monday you will take a test on Acts I and II of The Crucible. Make sure you prepare for this major grade!!! After the test you should work on the Act III and Act IV study guides. When we return from our Christmas vacation we will wrap up our study of this play and will prepare for midterm exams. Have a safe and happy holiday vacation!!!
12th Academic English
On Monday you will take a test on Acts I, II and III of MacBeth. Make sure you prepare for this major second quarter grade!! After the test you should work on the Act IV and Act V study guides for this play. When we return from our Christmas vacation we will wrap up our study of this work by Shakespeare and will prepare for midterm exams. Have a safe and happy holiday vacation!!!
Theatre Production.
On Tuesday you will present your make-up design project. This is a major grade for this quarter, so make sure you put time and effort into this work. When we return from our Christmas vacation you will have about two weeks to complete your midterm exam project. You will receive the details on this project on the first day back after vacation. This week we will continue our study of The Crucible. On Monday we will finish Act One and begin Act Two. On Tuesday you will take a quiz on Act One. We will read and discuss Act Two throughout most of the week. When we finish you will take a quiz on Act Two and will begin work on the Act Three Study Guide. On Thursday you will take vocabulary quiz #7, will turn in reading response #7 and will work on vocabulary list #8. On Monday of next week you will take a test on Acts One and Two of The Crucible.

This week we will continue our study of Shakespeare's MacBeth. On Monday you will take a quiz on Act Two. We will read together and discuss Act Three. When we finish you will take a quiz on Act Three and will take a test on Acts One through Three. After the test, you will begin work on the Act Four study guide. On Thursday you will take vocabulary quiz #7, will turn in reading response #7 and will work on vocabulary list #8.

This week we will finish viewing Into The Woods. You will create a make-up plan for a character assigned to you, then will begin work on the midterm project.

Make sure you are keeping up with your class work and home work since the second quarter will quickly come to an end after our Christmas break!
