Week of October 6, 2014
11th Academic English
This week we will wrap up our study of sentence classification.  Monday and Tuesday we will review your worksheet answers and will prepare for a test on this information.  The sentence classification test will be given on Wednesday.  On Thursday of this week you will take vocabulary quiz #3, will turn in reading response #3 and will work on vocabulary list #4.  Friday we will begin practicing editing and revising skills.

12th Academic English
This week we will finish our look at Arthurian literature.  On Monday and Tuesday we will discuss both "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" and the selection from "Morte d'Arthur."  We will discuss the content of the selections and how these selections fit the definitions of both medieval romance and legend.  On Wednesday you will take a test on both Arthurian literature and Beowulf.  On Thursday of this week you will take vocabulary quiz #3, will turn in reading response #3 and will work on vocabulary list #4.
