Week of October 27, 2014
11th Academic English
This week we will begin our study of early American literature.  You will outline some introductory notes from pages 1-12 in the literature anthology, then will take notes during a power point lecture on this information.  We'll read together and discuss Native American origin myths and, near the end of the week, you will begin to create your own origin myth in the style of the Native Americans.

12th Academic English
This week we will wrap up our study of The Canterbury Tales.  We will finish discussion on "The Nun's Priest's Tale" and will read together and discuss "The Pardoner's Tale."  You will take a unit test on The Canterbury Tales sometime this week.  When you finish the test, you will read and outline pp. 220-231 in your literature anthology, "The English Renaissance."  You will also take notes during a power point discussion/lecture of this information.
