Week of October 8, 2012
11th Academic English
Well, we got a little behind last week, so this week we'll finish our work with Act I of The Crucible.  You'll have a quiz on the Act I study guide on Wednesday.  You will begin work with Act II on Wednesday and will continue work on that on Friday.  On Thursday of this week you'll take Vocabulary Quiz #3 and will begin work on list #4.  You'll also turn in Newsweek summary #2 on Thursday.

12th Academic English
On Tuesday, we'll discuss "Sir Gawain and The Green Knight," pp. 162-175.  We'll look at how society is changing, what values are important to society as seen through this literature, and how these changes compare to what we've learned from studying Beowulf.  On Wednesday we'll begin work with "Morte d'Arthur," pp. 176-184.  Again, we'll look at society through this literature.  On Thursday you'll take Vocabulary Quiz #3 and will begin work on list #4.  Don't forget that Newsweek summary #2 is also due on Thursday.
