11th Academic English
This week we will continue our studies of John Steinbeck's novel, Of Mice and Men. You will take a quiz on chapters 1 through 3 on Monday, May 3rd. On Wednesday, May 5th, you will take the second quiz (chapters 4-6) for this novel. On Thursday, May 6th, you will take the final test on this novel and will begin your studies of Modern and Postmodern American Literature by reading and outlining the short story "Winter Dreams" by F. Scott Fitzgerald, pp. 742-762.

12th Academic English
This week we will continue our studies of Modern and Postmodern British Literature by analyzing the short stories "The First Year of My Life," p. 1164 and "The Rocking Horse Winner," p. 1176. You will also outline the biographical information on Muriel Spark, p.1156 and D.H.Lawrence and Grahan Greene, p. 1174. On Thursday, you will take Vocabulary Quiz #16 and turn in the next Newsweek summary.
