Academic English 12
Students will begin independently reading pieces of the Modern/Postmodern Era of Literature. Students will be responsible to read and take notes on Elizabeth Bowen's The Demon Lover and Alan Sillitoe's The Fiddle. Study guides for the analysis of each work, as well as historical relevance will be distributed and must be completed.
Academic English 11
Throughout the entire week, students will view Franco Zepherelli's film adaptation of Shakespeare's Hamlet. Students will take notes comparing and contrasting the film and the text.
