This week we will begin a look at America's Jazz Age.  We will use short stories written by F. Scott Fitzgerald to further our understanding of our country's coming of age.  You will be loaned an anthology of Fitzgerald's stories and will be given a project assignment sheet to guide you through this literary study.  Make sure you take notes and ask questions as we proceed.  Reading response #14 is due on Friday, April 5th.  Vocabulary quiz #14 will be given on Friday as well.

This week we will wrap up our look at literature from England's Romantic Period.  We will discuss both "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" and the selections from Frankenstein in preparation for a test on this period.  Vocabulary quiz #14 will be given on Friday and you will start work with vocabulary list #15 on Friday as well.
