Week of September 17, 2018
Sat Prep
This week you will continue to work in our book, reviewing and practicing strategies that will help you succeed on the SAT.  Remember to pace yourself, trying to complete two chapters a week.  Always ask for help if you don't understand something! We will also be meeting individually with each student to monitor and ask about progress.

11th Academic English
This week you will continue to review the Parts of Speech. We will check your answers for the worksheets completed in class in order to prepare for the test, which will be sometime this week. Later in the week we will begin learning about Clauses and types of sentences.

12th Academic English
This week we will continue the study of Beowulf and the concept of what makes a hero? You will also be working with your groups to organize and plan your project, which is due September 26.

12th Honors English
This week we will finish our study of Beowulf, and prepare for the test, which will be sometime this week. You will also be working with your groups to organize and plan your project, which is due September 26. Lastly, continue reading "The Red Badge of Courage," and think about the essential question, "What makes a hero?"
